Introducing Pearl's
"Intro to Teaching Yoga Training"
A 2-month hybrid program for people who want to teach yoga in their communities - without the $2,000+ price tag and 200-hour commitment.
This isn't a watered-down version of "real" training.
This is an alternative path.
For people who simply want to share yoga.
Maybe friends have told you "you should teach!"
Maybe you've imagined leading a class at your church, your gym, your community center.
Maybe you've pictured yourself guiding a group of beginners through their first sun salutation and watching them light up.
But then you looked into yoga teacher training and saw:
💸 $2,000 - $5,000 price tags
⏰ 200 hours of training
📅 Six months to a year of your life
And you thought... maybe someday.
You don't need a $3,000 certification to teach yoga to your coworkers.
You don't need 200 hours of training to lead a gentle flow for your neighbors.
You don't need to quit your job and move to Bali to share something you love with people who need it.
You just need the right foundation, some practice, and people who believe in you.
That's what this is.

FAQs
Do I need to be flexible or "good at yoga" to do this?
Absolutely not. If you can breathe and you love yoga, you're qualified to be here. This isn't about being the most advanced practitioner in the room - it's about learning to guide others with clarity and heart. Some of the best teachers are the ones who remember what it's like to be a beginner.
Will this certify me to teach at a yoga studio?
Every studio has their own requirements. Many want 200-hour certified teachers, so if you're expressly interested in teaching at a specific studio, check with them first to see what they require. That said, this certification is perfect for teaching at community centers, recreation departments, gyms, workplaces, churches, or running your own classes. And it gives you a real foundation if you decide to pursue a 200-hour certification later.
What if I miss an in-person session?
Life happens. If you miss a session, you'll have one opportunity to make it up with Janet and Melanie. We'll offer one additional Sunday after the program ends for anyone who missed portions and wants the feedback.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes! You can pay $100/month for 3 months. Payments are due by the 15th of January, February, and March.
What happens after I graduate?
You'll have your sequence, your certificate and you'll also get a discount on Pearl's Teaching Circle - our ongoing twice-monthly Sunday mentorship where graduates keep practicing, learning, and growing together. You don't have to do this alone.
I'm nervous. What if I'm not good at this?
Good.
That means you care.
You're going to be bumpy in the beginning - everyone is. But your future students won't care about perfection. They'll care about how they feel when they leave your class. If you take your time, keep them breathing, and show up with intention, you're already a good teacher. We'll help you with the rest.
